Akriti Delhi Based Ngo

Even though the name says Delhi, we are actually working out of Jamnagar right now. Our office is at A 9 Gunjan Apartment, which is in the 7 A Patel Colony area. It’s a residential neighborhood, so it’s fairly quiet most of the time. We are an NGO, so our days are mostly spent coordinating things and trying to help out where we can. It’s not a big corporate setup. It’s basically just a few rooms in an apartment where we keep our files and meet up to discuss what needs to be done. We have some people here in Jamnagar 361008 and some connections back in Delhi. Most of our work involves reaching out to people and organizing small events or programs. It’s not always easy, and sometimes we run out of space for all the stuff we collect. We don't have a big budget for fancy furniture, so we just use what we have. It’s a very grassroots kind of feel. Sometimes the neighbors wonder what we are doing with all the people coming in and out, but we just explain we are working on our projects. We’ve been at this Patel Colony address for a bit. It’s a decent place to base ourselves while we try to do some good. We just take it one day at a time and try to finish our tasks before the sun goes down.
