Noor Cement Product Works

We’re located over in the Bebesvera Industrial Area, right near the Murlidhar Weigh Bridge. If you get to the weigh bridge, you’re basically there. Noor Cement Product Works is exactly what the name says. We work with cement all day. It’s heavy, it’s dusty, and it’s hard work. Our yard is usually full of molds and drying blocks. We don't have a fancy office. Most of the time, we’re outside or in the shed where the mixing happens. My clothes are always covered in grey dust by the end of the shift. It’s just the nature of the job. We don’t mind it much. The industrial area is loud and busy, with trucks coming and going to the weigh bridge constantly. We have a small crew of guys who know how to handle the heavy lifting. We don’t use any complicated software or anything. We just count the products and load them onto the trucks. Some days the weather makes things difficult, like when it rains and we have to cover everything up quickly. But we manage. It’s a basic operation. We make the products, people buy them, and we move on to the next batch. It’s not glamorous, but it keeps us busy. We’ve been here for a good bit of time now and know the neighbors well. There is always a pile of sand or gravel near the entrance, and the mixer is almost always running.
