We operate out of R.S.No.41 in a village called Fagasta. It’s part of the Kalavad area in Jamnagar district. The office is a basic building that Jaka Jamnagar Spnf Producer Company Limited has used for a few years now. We spend our days figuring out how to get the local crops to market. Kalavad is a quiet place, and Fagasta is even quieter. We like it that way. It gives us time to focus on the actual farming instead of all the noise you get in the bigger towns. There are only a few of us running the daily tasks. We take turns handling the phones and going out to meet the growers. We don't have a marketing budget or anyone to write fancy reports. We just write down what we did and what we need to do tomorrow. The wind can get pretty strong out here in Jamnagar, but the building holds up fine. People usually just drop in without calling first. We don't mind. It’s the way things are done in our village. We’re just trying to keep the farming tradition going while making it a bit more organized for the people involved. It’s a lot of work and some days are better than others, but we’re still here. We don't need much more than that to keep going and keep the doors open for everyone who depends on the local harvest.
