Jamnagar is a hub for this kind of stuff so we fit right in. The office for In Reliance Engineering Ass Ltd is where the planning happens and we spend a lot of our time looking at drawings and lists. It's a hardworking environment. We don't have a lot of bells and whistles. It's mostly just desks, computers, and a lot of coffee. The weather here can get quite hot in the summer but we keep the fans going. Most of the staff live nearby so we are a tight-knit group. We know the local suppliers and they know us. It makes the work go a bit smoother when you have those connections. We aren't a massive corporation with thousands of rules. We just follow the engineering standards and make sure the parts are right. Every day brings a different challenge but that’s just how engineering goes. We like being in this part of Gujarat. There is a lot of industry around and it feels good to be part of that energy. We keep our head down and just do the job. If you come by, you'll see we are just regular people trying to do honest work. We have some old filing cabinets that have seen better days but they still work fine. We don't worry about being fancy. We just focus on the machines and the designs.
