Torando Cement is tucked away in Hall No. 213, over in the North Block of Bahu Plaza. If you have ever spent any time at Bahu Plaza, you know it is quite a maze with all the different offices and people constantly running around. We are in the A 1 section of the building. It is a decent spot for a cement business because a lot of activity happens in this part of the city. Our office isn't anything special to look at, just some desks, old files, and people talking on phones about truck deliveries. We mostly handle the administrative side of the business here. It gets noisy in the hallways during the lunch hour when everyone is out. We have been operating as a private limited setup for some time now. We don't have a flashy showroom or anything like that. It is mostly just about making sure the supply chain stays linked up between the plant and the sites. Cement is a heavy business, but the office work is all about the small details and making sure the numbers add up at the end of the month. Sometimes the lift in the building acts up, so we end up taking the stairs. It keeps us moving. We deal with various contractors and folks who need bulk materials. Usually, someone is always in the office from the morning until the late afternoon. We aren't a big corporate machine with scripted answers. We just talk like regular people because that is who we are.
