We are based out in Kartholi, in the Bari Brachamana area. It’s a place where you see a lot of industrial work going on. Our setup is pretty basic. We deal with cement, which means things are usually a bit grey and dusty around here. We’ve got the sheds where we store everything and a small area where we handle the orders. It’s a tough environment, but we’ve been doing it for years now. The crew here is mostly local guys from around the village. We start early in the morning before it gets too hot. There’s always a truck being loaded or unloaded, so there’s plenty of noise. We don’t have a big marketing team or anything. Most of our work comes from people in the area who know we’ve been here a long time. We just focus on keeping the supply steady. If someone needs a load of cement for a new house or a repair, they know where to find us. We aren't trying to be the biggest company out there. We just want to keep things running smoothly. The yard is big enough for the trucks to turn around, which is helpful. It’s honest, physical work that keeps us busy from Monday to Saturday. We like the routine of it. It’s just how things are done here in this part of the country. We don't worry about being fancy as long as the work gets done.
