Shree Media

Shree Media is tucked away at 151 F in Gurah Bakshi Nagar. It’s a pretty standard neighborhood in Jammu where everyone knows each other. Our space is filled with equipment and paper most of the time. We handle different kinds of media projects, and there’s usually a hum coming from the printers or the computers. It gets a bit cramped when we have a lot of work piled up on the tables. The light coming through the front window is nice in the winter, but in summer we mostly keep the curtains drawn to stay cool. We aren't a big corporate firm; it’s just a few of us here trying to get things out on time. Sometimes we make mistakes and have to redo a print, but that’s just how it goes in this line of work. The street outside is usually busy with people walking to the local shops. We have a small sign out front, though it’s a bit faded now. Most of our neighbors just drop by for a chat or to see what we are working on. It’s a simple setup. We don’t have a fancy lobby or a receptionist. If you walk in, you’ll probably see someone hunched over a screen or folding some flyers. It’s practical work. We’ve been in Bakshi Nagar for a good bit now and it feels like home. The tea from the corner shop is a staple for our afternoon meetings.
