Our office for Icici Prudential Life Insurance .Co. Ltd. is situated in a place called Rehni. It’s under the post office of Garhi in the Udhampur district. This is a much quieter area than the big cities. We are surrounded by more hills and trees than buildings here. Working in a place like Udhampur means we know a lot of the people who come in. We handle insurance, which is basically about helping people plan for the future, but we do it in a very local way. Our office is simple and serves the community around Garhi and the nearby villages. It’s a small team here. We don't have the big flashy signs you might see in a metro area. We just have our desks and our files. People walk in or call us when they have questions about their policies. It is a slow and steady kind of life. We try to be patient and explain things clearly when someone asks us something. The commute isn't bad because we aren't dealing with city traffic, just the local roads. It’s a decent place to be, and we feel like we are part of the neighborhood.
