Bbc Computers sits right at the Main Ambphalla Chowk. If you’ve ever been through the chowk, you’ve probably seen us or at least driven past the building. It’s a busy intersection, so there’s always a lot of honking and traffic outside our windows. We’ve been here for quite some time now. The shop isn't anything special to look at, just a regular place with computers and parts scattered around. We don’t go in for fancy displays or expensive furniture. It’s a working shop. Most of our days are spent fixing things or talking to people who drop in from the street. Being at the chowk is good because everyone knows the landmark, even if they don’t know our name right away. We started this because we liked working with machines and it just grew from there. There are no suits or ties here; we usually just wear whatever is comfortable for the day. Sometimes the dust from the road gets in, and we have to clean the screens more often than we’d like. It’s a simple life running a shop in such a central spot. We stay busy enough to keep the lights on and the rent paid. If you’re passing through Ambphalla Chowk, you can’t really miss the location. We’re just here doing our thing day in and day out, helping out whoever walks through the front door with a broken machine or a question that needs a real answer.
