Down here on Akhnoor Road, things are always on the move. Our place stays full of heavy crates and tall stacks of tiles that come in from all over the place. It is a bit of a workout just being here, moving the heavy samples around so people can see the different patterns and finishes. The dust from the road and the warehouse is just a normal part of the job for us. We have this showroom area in Jammu where local families come in when they are looking to fix up their kitchens or bathrooms. They usually bring their kids along, and there is always a lot of debating over which color looks better under the shop lights. We do not bother with any fancy sales pitches; we just show people what we have in stock and let them decide. The office is tucked away in the back corner where we handle all the invoices and the delivery schedules for the trucks. Akhnoor Road is a main route, so there is a constant hum of traffic outside that never really stops until late at night. We have a small team here, and everyone pitches in with everything, whether it is loading a heavy truck or answering the phone when it gets busy. It is pretty straightforward work. Sometimes a shipment arrives later than expected and we have to stay behind to get it sorted, but that is just the tile business. We are just helping people get their homes sorted.
