Vikas Marbles (Cera Style Gallery)

Vikas Marbles is located in Sainik Colony, right near the railway bridge on the Bye Pass Road. We have our Cera Style Gallery here too. It’s a very noisy spot because the trains go by quite often and the bypass road is always full of heavy trucks. You can feel the ground vibrate a little when a big train passes over the bridge. We’ve been here long enough that we don't even notice the sound anymore. The shop is filled with different kinds of stone and tiles. It’s heavy work, moving those slabs around all day. Our hands are usually rough and covered in dust. We don't have a fancy showroom with air conditioning or anything like that. It’s just a practical space where we show people what we have available. We get a lot of people from the colony coming in to look for things for their new homes. Some of them are our neighbors. We don't try to use big sales pitches. We just let them look around and answer their questions if they have any. The weather can be a problem sometimes, as the dust from the bypass road gets everywhere no matter how much we sweep. But that’s just part of the location. We like being near the bridge, it makes us easy to find. We stay busy enough just keeping things organized and helping out the locals. It's a tough but good life.
