Ammie Study Centre

We have been operating Ammie Study Centre for a while now, right here near Vikram Chowk in Jammu. It is not some fancy corporate office with glass walls or anything like that. It is just a simple place where students can come to get their work done without too much noise. Jammu gets really busy around the chowk area, especially in the afternoons, but once you step inside our door, it is mostly just the sound of pages turning and the ceiling fans humming. We do not have a big team or a lot of staff. It is just a few of us making sure the chairs are in the right place and the lights are working. Some students come every single day, while others we only see right before their big exams. We try to keep the fans running well in the summer because the Jammu heat can be quite something. It gets a bit crowded sometimes when the local schools let out. We usually see the same faces every week, which is nice. It is funny how you eventually get used to the traffic noise from the street while you are trying to focus on a textbook. The address is pretty easy to find if you know this part of town. People usually just drop in to ask about our timings. We do not do much advertising at all. Word of mouth works much better around here anyway. Most of the kids live in the nearby lanes. We keep things very simple.
