Sarava Food

We spend most of our time here at Sarava Food just getting things ready for the day. Being near Amidc means there is always a lot of movement outside our doors. Usually, the mornings start quite early when the trucks begin to roll in. It gets pretty dusty out there sometimes, but we just keep the doors open when we can. Most people who stop by are just looking for a quick bite while they are on their shift or heading home. It is not a fancy place by any means. We have some stools and tables that have seen better days. My cousin usually handles the counter while I stay in the back where it is a bit cooler. Sometimes the power goes out for an hour or so in the afternoon, which makes things tricky, but we manage with what we have. We’ve been in this spot for a while now. The address is just near the main entrance to the industrial area so we see the same faces every week. It feels like a small community even though it is mostly factories around us. We don’t really have a big sign or anything, just enough so people know where to get their lunch. The rain leaked a bit through the roof last monsoon so we had to patch that up recently. It’s just us doing our thing day after day. We don’t worry much about being perfect, we just try to have everything ready when the whistle blows.
