Ram Foods Products Pvt. Ltd. is located out here at Gat No:17/1 on Nh-6 in Varad. If you know the Dharangoan area, you know it is mostly fields and open space. Being right on the highway makes it much easier for the trucks to come and go, which is good because we move a lot of stuff every week. We handle food products, so keeping things clean is the main thing we worry about every single day. The floors get scrubbed constantly. It is a busy place with people moving pallets around and checking the labels on the boxes. Most of the staff comes from the local villages nearby. We start early, usually before the sun gets too hot, because the warehouse can get a bit warm in the afternoons. It is a lot of manual labor, lifting bags and boxes, but we have a good rhythm going now. Sometimes the machines act up and we have to spend half the morning fixing a belt or a motor. Nobody here wears a suit. We are all in work clothes because things get dusty. We just try to get the food packed and sent out without any mistakes. It is a simple operation, really. We do not spend much time on fancy talk. We just focus on the orders we have for the day and make sure the trucks are loaded before they head out on the NH-6. It is steady work and it keeps us busy from Monday to Saturday.
