Jack N Jill Bakers

If you head down towards Dor Bazar in the MIDC area of Jalgaon, you will find us at N-2. Jack N Jill Bakers is a busy place, especially when the ovens are going. The smell of baking bread and biscuits usually fills the air around our part of the industrial estate. It is not a quiet job. We have machines running and people moving trays around all day long. The floor is usually covered in a bit of flour, and it gets quite warm near the back where the heat is. We aren't a fancy boutique bakery with decorations. We are a production unit that focuses on getting the baking done. Our team is made up of local people who know their way around a kitchen. We start our shifts early, sometimes while it is still dark out, to make sure things are ready. The MIDC area is full of all kinds of factories, and we are just one of them, doing our part. We don't have a PR person or a marketing department. We just have our recipes and our equipment. Sometimes the dough doesn't rise quite right or a machine needs fixing, and those are the days that keep us busy. It is hard work, standing on your feet for hours, but it is what we do. We have been here in Jalgaon for a while now, just keeping the ovens hot and the bins full.
