You can find Asli Health & Food Industries Pvt. Ltd. over at 34 Deshpande Complex. We are right near the S.T. Stand in Jilha Peth, so it is always busy with people coming and going from the buses all day. The complex itself has a lot of different shops and small businesses. Our unit is mostly filled with bags of stock and a couple of old wooden desks. It is a bit noisy with all the traffic outside, but we have gotten used to the sound by now. We deal with a lot of different food products, so there is always something being moved around or weighed on the scales. It is physical work and we are on our feet a lot. We aren't sitting in leather chairs or looking out of big glass windows. It is just plain brick walls and practical metal shelves. We started small and we have stayed pretty grounded through the years. Most of us live nearby, so the daily commute isn't too bad. We know the other shop owners in the complex and we say hello every morning. Sometimes we share a tea in the afternoon when things quiet down a bit. We don't have any fancy mission statements or slogans on the wall. We just show up, check what is in the inventory, and make sure the orders are filled correctly for the day. Jilha Peth is a good place for us because everyone knows the landmark.
