Dnyaneshwary Foods

Being out here in Village Adgaon means we are close to the farms, which is good for what we do at Dnyaneshwary Foods. Our place is right near the Adgaon Road, not too far from the post office. It’s a family-run thing mostly. We spend our days processing what comes in from the local fields. The weather out here in Jalgaon can get really dry, so we have to be careful with how we store everything. It isn’t a massive factory, just a decent-sized setup where we can manage the work. Some days are slower than others, depending on the harvest. We don’t have a website or a marketing person. Most people just stop by because they saw us on their way into the village. We’ve had to fix the roof a couple of times last monsoon, but the machines inside are still running fine. We handle various food items, mostly staples that people around here use every day. It’s dusty work and our clothes usually show it by the time we head home. We just try to be honest with the weights and keep the prices where they should be for our neighbors. It’s a simple life in Adgaon, and we are happy to be a part of it. The road gets busy during the market days, which is when we see most of our visitors. We keep a big jug of water by the door for anyone who’s had a long walk.
