I've been working at Bohra Central School here in Parola for a while now. Most days start pretty early because the sun gets quite strong in Jalgaon by mid-morning. We are located right in the 425111 area, and you can usually hear the kids playing before you even see the gate. It's a standard building with classrooms that get a bit dusty sometimes, but we try to keep it tidy. The benches have some scratches from years of use, and the blackboards always need a good wipe down. We have some trees in the corner where parents wait in the afternoon. It’s not a fancy place, just a regular school where people from around Parola send their children. Sometimes the fans make a bit of noise, and we have to get the electrician in to fix them. The staff room is always full of notebooks piled up on tables. We drink a lot of tea between classes to keep our energy up. It gets busy during exam times, and everyone is rushing around with bundles of papers. In the rainy season, the ground gets a bit muddy, but the kids don't seem to mind much. We just go about our business every day, trying to make sure the lessons get done and everyone stays safe. It’s a lot of work, but that’s just how it is running a school in a place like this. We know most of the families by name now.
