Amit Food Products

We are located in Akshar Society, right in the SBI Colony area. It’s actually just opposite the Surabhi Karyalay. Being in a residential-style colony makes it a bit different from being in a big industrial zone. It’s quieter, and we know all our neighbors. They often see us coming and going with supplies. We started this food business in a small way, and it’s grown a bit, but we still keep things very simple. Our workspace is clean and organized, but it's definitely not a high-tech factory. We do a lot of things by hand because we think it turns out better that way. Sometimes the delivery van has a hard time parking on the narrow street, but we figure it out. We don't spend money on big ads or marketing people. We just rely on people trying our food and telling their friends. It’s a small operation with just a few of us. We have our routines, like starting the machines early and having our midday break together. Sometimes things go wrong, like a machine breaking down, and we have to fix it ourselves. It’s all part of the job. We aren't trying to change the world; we’re just making food products that we’re okay with putting our name on. It’s a good life here in the colony and we plan to stay for a while.
