Yippee & Yummy

Yippee & Yummy. We’re at Shop No.2 on Ghas Mandi Road in Jalandhar. If you know the Model House area, you probably know where we are. We’re right near the Lakshmi Narayan Mandir, which is a big help when people are trying to find us. Also, the government school is right across the way on Gtb Avenue. It’s a lively little corner of the world. Jalandhar can be quite a busy place, and our street is no exception. We started this little shop without much of a plan, just a desire to be our own bosses. It’s not a big corporate chain or anything like that. Just a small shop where we spend most of our waking hours. Some days are slow, especially when the weather is too hot or it's raining hard. But when the school lets out or there's a festival at the temple, things get pretty hectic. We try to keep the place tidy, though it’s hard when you’re busy. It’s just a plain, simple spot. No fancy furniture or expensive lights. Just the basics. Gtb Avenue has been our home for a while now, and we’ve gotten to know the neighbors pretty well. We aren’t looking to change the world, just trying to make a living and keep the shop going day by day. We just hope the people who come in are satisfied with what they get.
