Virdi Steels

Our yard is at Plot No. 55 in Rana Garden. It’s in the Bhai Lalo Ji Nagar area. If you’re looking for steel, this is where we keep it. It’s a big open plot with piles of iron and steel rods. There isn't much of an office, just a small room where we keep the books and take a break. Most of the work happens outside. We have to move heavy loads with the crane or by hand sometimes. It’s hard work and your clothes get dirty pretty fast. The sun beats down on the metal, so in the summer, you have to be careful what you touch. We get a lot of trucks coming in and out, bringing new stock or taking things to construction sites. It’s a bit noisy with all the clanging of metal. We’ve been at this location for a while now. The ground is mostly dirt and gravel, so it gets muddy when it rains. We just wear our boots and keep going. It’s not a place for people who like to stay clean. We have a few regulars who come by every week. We don't do any big marketing. People just know Virdi Steels is here at the garden plot. We also have a small shed where we keep some of the tools dry. Most of our day is spent checking the weight of the loads before they go out. It's just a regular steel yard doing regular business every day.
