Vardhman Metals

Our place is over at Plot No E/4/30 in Krishna Nagar. It is pretty close to the New Layalpur Colony, so most locals know the area well. We handle various types of metal here, mostly just getting things organized and sent out to where they need to go. The yard can get a bit cluttered when a big shipment comes in, but we try to keep it somewhat tidy. It’s a dusty job, truth be told. You can’t really work with metal all day and stay clean. We have been at this plot for a good number of years now. The gates stay open most of the day because there is always someone coming or going. Sometimes the neighbors complain if we make too much noise early in the morning, so we try to be careful with the heavy stuff until at least eight. It’s not a shiny showroom type of business. It’s a practical site where we move material. We have a small cabin for the paperwork, but most of the time we are out on the floor. The weather affects us a lot; if it rains, everything slows down. During the summers, the metal gets so hot you can't touch it without gloves. We just deal with it as it comes. There are no fancy titles here, just people who know their way around a metal yard.
