Status Hair Salon

You’ll find Status Hair Salon at Shop No. 8 on Cantt Road in Jalandhar. We are right near the church, which is a good landmark for people who aren't from this exact part of town. It’s a simple hair salon for the local guys. We have a few chairs, the usual clippers, and a couple of combs that have seen a lot of hair. The shop isn't very large, but we make the most of the space. Jalandhar can be quite cold in the winter and very hot in the summer, so the shop is a bit of a refuge from the weather. We keep the mirrors clean, though the floor always has some hair on it by midday. Men from the neighborhood come in for a quick cut or a shave before work. We don't do anything overly stylish or trendy unless someone really asks for it. It’s mostly just regular haircuts. There’s usually a radio playing in the background or just the sound of the traffic on Cantt Road. We aren't part of any big chain. It’s just Shop No. 8.
