Being behind Narinder Cinema means we hear the muffled sounds of movie soundtracks during the day. It’s a funny place to have an export office, but New Market has its own rhythm that you eventually get used to. The building is a bit older, and the stairs are a little narrow, but it serves our purpose. We spend a lot of time tucked away in the back, going through invoices and shipping manifests. When a new movie releases, the whole area gets really crowded with people and scooters parked everywhere. It makes getting in and out a bit of a challenge, but we’ve learned to work around it. Our office is functional, nothing more. We have a couple of desks and some chairs for when people come to visit, though most of our business happens through calls and emails. The light in the market isn't the best, so we keep the lamps on all day long. Sometimes we go out to the front of the cinema to grab some street food for lunch. It’s a lively spot to be in. We don't really do any big marketing or anything like that; people mostly find us because they’ve been told where we are. It’s a simple operation where we handle the details of moving goods around. We just try to keep up with the pace of the market and stay organized. The office might be small, but it works and we get the job done.
