Our place is at 63 R/ A Block in Model House. It’s a familiar spot for everyone in this part of town. Chamunda Exports isn’t a massive operation with hundreds of people, it’s just us working out of a regular building. The Model House area is pretty well known, so people don’t usually get lost coming here. Inside, you’ll find a lot of samples lying around on the tables. We keep things pretty informal. If a customer walks in, they usually just grab a plastic chair and we talk. There’s no front desk or receptionist. The paperwork is piled up on the corner desk, and someone is always looking for a lost pen. We spend our days coordinating with suppliers and making sure the quality is okay before anything gets packed up. It gets a bit loud when the packing machines are running, but we’re used to it. The windows stay open most of the time to let a breeze in, even if it brings in some dust. We’ve been here long enough that we know all the neighbors. Sometimes we share a meal together in the back room if the work isn't too crazy. It’s a practical way to run a business. We don't have fancy brochures. We just do the work, pack the goods, and see them off. That’s about all there is to it.
