You can find Pensla Impex at the backside of Sodal Mandir Road, inside the Jagyasu Estate. Being at the backside means we are tucked away from the main road, which is nice because it’s a bit calmer, but it makes it hard for visitors to find us. Usually, we tell people to look for the Sodal Mandir and then head into the estate. The estate has a lot of different workshops and small businesses, so there is always the sound of metal hitting metal or engines running. Our space is mostly just a big open area with some desks shoved into the corner. We have a lot of stuff piled up against the walls. It isn't the most organized place, but we know where everything is. The roof is made of corrugated tin, so when it rains, it sounds like a drum set is going off over our heads. We have to stop talking on the phone during heavy storms because nobody can hear anything. The staff here has been around for a long time, so we don't really need to explain things to each other anymore. We just show up, drink some chai, and start moving the crates. It gets pretty dusty in the estate during the dry months, and we are always sweeping the floor. It’s a lot of physical labor and keeping track of numbers, but it’s what we do every day.
