Robin Unisex Hair Salon & Tattoo Junction

Robin Unisex Hair Salon & Tattoo Junction is situated right opposite Jaswant Nagar in Jalandhar City. We are specifically located at Dayanand Chowk. It is a busy intersection, so there is always a lot to look at out the front window while I am working. I decided to combine hair and tattoos because those are the two things I know how to do well. The shop is divided up so there’s a space for cutting hair and a separate area for the tattoo work. It’s not a huge place, but we make it work. Jalandhar is a lively city and Dayanand Chowk is right in the thick of it. I get a lot of younger people coming in for the tattoos, while the hair salon side sees everyone from kids to older men. It’s an interesting mix. I’ve been here for a few years and the walls are covered with some of my sketches and photos. It’s not polished or professional-looking like those big franchises you see in malls. It feels more like a workshop. I spend a lot of time cleaning the equipment because that’s important in this line of work. Sometimes it gets loud with the tattoo machine and the hair dryers going at the same time. I don’t mind the noise. It makes the day go by faster. I’m usually here from morning until late evening. It’s a good spot for this kind of work.
