Rk Hair Saloon

We’ve been running Rk Hair Saloon for a good while now in Urban Estate Ph. 1. If you go just inside Garha Road, you’ll find us right near the school. It’s not a fancy place by any means, but it gets the job done for the people who live around here. Most of our regulars are folks who come in after their work shift or on their day off when they finally have a moment to breathe. The shop is a bit small, and things can get pretty crowded, especially in the afternoons when the school nearby lets out and the kids are running around everywhere. I started this place because I like the work of cutting hair and talking to the people of Jalandhar. We don't go in for anything too complicated here. It’s just simple haircuts, basic shaves, and the occasional head massage if someone is feeling particularly tired. The mirrors are getting a bit old and the chairs have some cracks in the leather from years of use, but they are comfortable enough for a twenty-minute sit. You might have to wait on a plastic stool if you come on a Saturday, but there is always someone around to have a chat with. We keep the fan going to deal with the heat. We don’t have loud music or fancy drinks to offer. It’s just the sound of the clippers and people talking. It feels like a real part of the neighborhood.
