We’ve been running Ranjit Hardware And Mill Store for quite some time now on Link Road. If you are heading towards the Dhuri Line, you will find us right near the Dhaba Chicken Corner in Jammu Colony. It is a busy little area, especially around lunch. Our shop is mostly filled with the usual stuff you’d expect like nuts, bolts, hand tools, and some bigger mill parts that local workers often need. It’s not a big corporate place, just a regular store where the shelves are packed high and sometimes you have to move a few boxes to find exactly what you are looking for. I spend most of my day behind the counter or digging through the back rows to help someone find a specific size of pipe fitting or a sturdy wrench. The floor gets a bit dirty from all the boots coming in and out, but that is part of the job. People around here know us mostly by word of mouth. They come by when something breaks at home or at their workshop and they need a quick fix. We don't have a fancy display or anything like that. We just keep the items people ask for most often and try to stay organized enough to find them fast. It is honest work, and it keeps me busy every day. The neighborhood has changed a bit over the years, but we are still right here in the same spot, opening up early every morning.
