Puri Beauty Salon

Puri Beauty Salon is tucked away in the Bhog Pur area of Jalandhar. We’ve been operating out of this spot for a few years now, serving the local community here near Dasua 2. It’s not a very large shop, but we have enough room for a few people to sit and wait. Most of our work involves regular threading, hair trims, and sometimes bridal stuff when it’s the right season. Jalandhar is a big place but Bhog Pur feels more like a tight-knit neighborhood. We know the ladies who come in and they usually stay to chat for a bit even after we finish their hair. It’s more of a social thing for some. I started this salon because I liked doing hair and there wasn't much nearby for the local women. The shop has simple painted walls and we try to keep it as clean as possible, even when it’s raining outside and people bring in mud. We don't use any of those expensive machines you see in the city malls. We just use what works. Sometimes my cousin helps me out when we have a lot of appointments back to back. It’s a basic business, nothing fancy about it. We just open up in the morning, do our work, and go home. If you are in the 144002 area, you’ll find us easily enough. We’re just a local salon trying to do a good job for the neighborhood.
