Orogold Salon & Spa

Orogold Salon & Spa is located over at Sandhu Plaza in Jalandhar, right by the Pathankot By Pass. I started this place because I wanted to have a spot where people in the neighborhood could just come in and get their hair or skin looked at without any fuss. It gets pretty dusty out there by the bypass, so we spend a lot of time cleaning the glass and making sure the inside stays nice for whoever walks in. We aren't a massive place, but we have enough room to get the work done. Mostly, it is just me and a few others handling the daily rush. Some days it is quiet and we just sit around talking about the news, and other times every chair is full and we are running around trying to keep up. I usually get here early to open the shutters and check the supplies. The plaza is a good spot, though the parking can be a bit of a headache during the peak hours in Jalandhar. We do regular stuff like haircuts, some facials, and spa things that people ask for. It is hard work being on your feet all day, but it is a living. I don't really bother with big ads or anything. People just see the sign when they are driving by the bypass and stop in if they need a trim. That is pretty much how we keep going month after month.
