Oriental Machinery Store

If you are walking down Nehru Garden Road towards the railway stations, you will probably pass right by Oriental Machinery Store. We are located near the Bank of Baroda, which makes it easy to give directions to people who aren't from this part of town. The shop is filled with all sorts of heavy parts and tools, so there is always a bit of a metallic smell in the air. It’s not the cleanest place because machinery tends to be greasy, but we know where everything is kept. We started this place because we knew there was a need for these things near the station. It gets very busy during the day with people rushing to catch trains or coming into town for supplies. We have a lot of regulars who are mechanics or builders from the surrounding areas. We don't use big words or try to act like a huge corporation. It’s just a store where we sell machines and parts. Sometimes the rain leaks a little near the front door, and we have to put a bucket out, but we just get on with it. The fans hum all day long to keep us cool, and we usually have the radio playing softly in the background. We aren't trying to change the world, just trying to provide what our customers ask for.
