Malhotra Hardware Stores is located in the Industrial Area, right near the Kali Mata Mandir. The temple is a very easy landmark to find us. We have been running this hardware store for a long time now. The shelves are packed from the floor all the way to the ceiling with everything from tiny screws and washers to heavy-duty tools and pipes. It is a bit cramped inside because we try to keep as much stock as possible for our customers. If someone comes in asking for a specific bolt, I usually know exactly which box it is in, even if the place looks a bit disorganized to an outsider. It is a busy shop most days. People from the nearby factories often come in because they need a tool or a replacement part immediately to keep their machines running. We spend a lot of time counting items and talking to our regular customers. The floor is old and the wooden counters are worn down from years of sliding heavy boxes across them. It is a neighborhood hardware store where we know many people by their names. We don't do any big advertising or have a fancy storefront. We just stay open and make sure we have the basics that people need for their daily work. It is a simple, no-nonsense shop. The bells from the temple nearby remind us of the time throughout the day.
