Nippon Steels

We are located at 31-B on New Sodal Road. It is a very busy road with a lot of traffic going past us all day long. We handle steel, and it is heavy, tiring work. The yard can get quite cluttered when we have a lot of new stock coming in at once. We have seen this road change quite a bit over the years. Some of the old shops closed down and new ones opened up, but we have stayed right here at 31-B. The steel business is basically about moving heavy things from one place to another. We have some regular customers who have been buying from us for over a decade. It is a very simple setup. We have a small office where we handle the billing and the phone calls. Most of the time, however, we are outside in the yard checking the material. It gets really cold in the winter and the metal feels like ice to the touch. In the summer, it is the exact opposite and everything is hot. That is just how the job is. We do not have a website or anything fancy, just the old sign out front. People find us because they need steel and we are right here on New Sodal Road. We do not do much talking, just weighing and loading. The trucks come and go all day. It’s hard work on the back, but it keeps us moving. We just take it one day at a time here.
