Our place, New Look Hair And Beauty Saloon, is right near the Bus Stand in Jalandhar City. Specifically, we are by Bus Stand Gate Number 4. It is a very crowded spot because of all the people traveling to different cities. You can hear the horns and the announcements all day long from the gate. We get a mix of people coming in. Some are locals who live nearby and others are just passing through and realized they needed a shave or a trim before their next bus. The shop is a bit bigger than some of the others around here because we do both hair and some beauty stuff. It is nothing too fancy, just the regular stuff people ask for. The floor gets swept many times a day because of the constant foot traffic. We have a few staff members so we can handle several people at once. Sometimes it gets a bit chaotic when three or four people walk in at the same time, but we manage. The lighting is bright and we have some posters on the walls that have been there for years. We do not spend much on advertising because being next to the bus stand means people find us anyway. It is a busy life here in Jalandhar and we just keep the doors open from morning until late evening. Every day is different because you never know who is going to walk through that door next.
