Kapoor Metal Logos Work

So, if you’re looking for our spot, we are right at 23 Fish Market. It's close to Basti Adda. You can usually hear us before you see us because working with metal makes a lot of noise. My family has been doing this for years. We make those metal logos that you see on gates and machines. It’s a bit dusty here and the smell from the fish market next door is always there, but we are used to it by now. We start early in the morning before the crowd gets too thick. Someone is usually drinking tea while the machines warm up. We don't have a big office or anything. It's just a workshop with a lot of scrap pieces lying around the floor. Sometimes customers come in with a drawing on a piece of paper and we try to figure out how to cut it into the metal. We use some old tools and some newer ones too. The heat in the afternoon can get pretty bad, so we take a long break then. People around here know where we are. If you get lost near the Adda, just ask for the logo shop near the fish sellers. We don't really do fancy advertising. Most people just walk in or call because they saw our work somewhere else. We just keep our heads down and keep the metal moving every day. It’s hard work but it’s what we know how to do.
