Mushkan Hair Saloon

Our hair saloon is on Gupta Colony Road in Jalandhar City. We are situated near where Ek Noor Doctor has his medical practice. It is a handy location for people living in the colony. The shop is not very large, but we have managed to fit in everything we need for our daily work. We have the usual mirrors and chairs for cutting hair and shaving. We handle a lot of beard trims and simple haircuts throughout the day. Jalandhar can get quite dusty, so we are always wiping the glass and the wooden counters. We like to keep things tidy for whoever comes in next. We do not use any high-end marketing tricks to get people in. We just wait for them to stop by. Sometimes there is a small wait, so we have a few stools for people to sit on while they wait their turn. We usually have a local newspaper lying around for them to read. The sounds of the street come in through the open door all day long. We know most of the people who walk past our shop every day. We have become a small part of the neighborhood routine. We use standard scissors and electric clippers that we have had for a long time. They work well as long as you take care of them. It is a simple life, working with your hands and talking to the neighbors. We don't stay open too late, usually closing up once the sun goes down.
