Mem Saab Salon

Our shop is tucked away in Mith Bazaar, right near Mai Hiran Gate. If you live in Jalandhar City, you know how crowded this area gets, especially in the afternoons. The salon isn't very large, but we make use of the space we have. There’s a lot of history around here with the gate and the old market shops. We’ve been at this location for a while now. Most people find us because they’re already out doing their shopping in the bazaar and realize they need a haircut or something. It’s a bit of a squeeze when more than three people are waiting, but nobody seems to mind much. We have some old benches for sitting and the fans are always spinning to keep the air moving. I usually spend my mornings cleaning the glass and setting out the tools before the first customers arrive. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but it's okay for now. It feels like a neighborhood hub where you hear all the local gossip while the scissors are going. We handle all sorts of hair, nothing too complicated. Sometimes the tea man from down the street brings over a few cups and we take a short break while the shop is quiet. It’s just a regular workday for us in the heart of the city. We don't have any big signs or bright lights, just the name on the door. It’s a decent place to get your hair done.
