Kwality Steels

Kwality Steels operates out of Office No. 57-B in the Light Industrial Area. It is mostly an office space with a small yard where we keep our steel stock. I spend the majority of my day on the phone or checking the inventory lists. We supply different types of steel to local builders and small manufacturing units in the area. It is very straightforward work. We do not have a marketing department or anything like that. It is just a couple of us making sure the orders are correct and the trucks are loaded on time. This industrial area is always packed with vehicles, so finding a place to park can be quite a challenge. We have been in this same unit for many years. The walls look a bit old and could use some paint, but the filing cabinets are organized, and that is what matters for the business. We sell steel bars, rods, and sheets mainly. People call us to get the daily rates since steel prices go up and down all the time. We don't do the actual fabrication here; we just provide the raw materials. It involves a lot of lifting and moving heavy items. We know almost all the regular truck drivers who come through here. It feels like a small community. We try to be reliable and tell people the truth about when their steel will arrive. It is a basic, no-nonsense operation.
