Kohinoor Metal Industries

Kohinoor Metal Industries is down at D-89 in the Focal Point Extension. This part of the city is all about industry. There are rows and rows of units like ours doing all sorts of manufacturing. We focus on our metal work. The building is a standard industrial shed, nothing to look at from the outside. Inside, it’s a different story with all the activity. We have a crew that’s been working the machines for years. We don’t go in for fancy talk or big promises. We just tell people we’re at D-89 and they find us. The road in the Focal Point Extension is always busy with tempos and lorries. It gets quite loud during the day, so you have to shout a bit to be heard. We start early when it’s still cool. By the afternoon, the heat under the tin roof is quite something. We drink a lot of chai and just keep working. It’s a basic life, but it suits us. Kohinoor Metal Industries has its roots right here on this plot of land. We don’t see any reason to change how we do things. We just stay busy and keep the metal moving out the door. Sometimes the power goes out, and we just wait it out or fix what we can by hand. That's just how life is in the industrial extension and we wouldn't have it any other way really.
