Karan Steel Master

Our workshop is out on Jalandhar Road Kpt, specifically in the Mansurwal area. If you know where Pritam Dharam Kanta is, then you are pretty close to where we are located. At Karan Steel Master, we spend most of our time dealing with heavy metal and welding tools. The air is usually thick with the smell of iron and the sound of grinding machines hitting steel. It is hard work and our clothes usually end up covered in dust and grease by noon. We do not have a fancy showroom because our work happens right there on the shop floor where the materials are. We handle a lot of steel and try to make sure things are straight and sturdy for whoever needs them. The road outside is always busy with trucks and tractors passing by, which adds to the general noise of the day. We usually start the day by moving the big pieces of steel around to make enough space to work. It is a lot of lifting and pulling. We use heavy hammers and various saws that have seen better days but still cut through metal just fine. There is no air conditioning here, so the heat from the welding torches can make the place feel like an oven during the summer months. We just drink plenty of water and keep at it until the job is finished. It is a basic setup where the focus is on the metal.
