J. H. Metals

We have been operating out of S-105 in the Industrial Area for quite some time now. J. H. Metals is basically a small workshop where we handle different kinds of metal jobs. The area is always loud with the sound of other factories and trucks moving back and forth on the bumpy roads. Our space is a bit crowded because we have a lot of raw materials and old machines taking up the floor. We don’t have a fancy showroom or a polished corporate look. It’s just a place where work gets done. Most of the people working here have been with us for years, so they know the machines inside and out. We don’t really do any advertising. Most of our business comes from the other units nearby or people who have heard about us through word of mouth. The office is just a corner with a couple of chairs and a filing cabinet that’s seen better days. If the phone rings, someone just wipes their hands and picks it up. We aren't big on formalities. We just try to finish the parts on time so the next person can do their job. Sometimes we stay late when a big order comes in, and other times it's quiet enough to just tidy up the scrap. It’s a simple life, focused on the metal and the machines we run every day.
