Iris Beauty Salon & Academy

Up on the first floor of Scf-22 in Urban Estate Phase 1, you’ll find Iris Beauty Salon & Academy. We’re right in the middle of Jalandhar City, which stays pretty active most days. It’s a mix of a salon where people get their hair and skin looked after and an academy where some folks come to learn the trade. Since we are on the first floor, you have to head up the stairs to get to us. The space isn’t huge but we’ve organized it so there’s room for the chairs and the teaching area. Jalandhar has plenty of these spots, but we’ve been at this Urban Estate location for a good bit now. Some days are packed with students practicing their techniques, and other times it’s just the usual local customers coming in for a quick trim or a bit of beauty work. We don't have fancy lobbies or anything like that. It’s just a working space. Being in Phase 1 means there is always something going on outside, and we see all kinds of people coming through the doors. We just do the work we know how to do. The academy part keeps us on our toes because teaching someone how to cut hair is a whole different thing than just doing it yourself. It’s a practical place, honestly. We focus on the basics and make sure the jobs get done right without a lot of fuss.
