Hero Steel Industries

Hero Steel Industries is tucked away behind Neemi Chakki on Mandi Road. It’s been our spot for a long time. The shop isn't much to look at from the outside, just a big shed with a lot of noise coming out. We handle all sorts of steel work, from cutting heavy beams to welding small frames for the locals. It gets pretty dusty and hot inside, especially during the summer months when the sun beats down on the tin roof. We don’t have a fancy office or a receptionist to greet you. Usually, you’ll just find one of us covered in grit, working the machines or loading up a truck. The trucks can be a real headache on Mandi Road, often blocking the way, but we make it work. We have a couple of old desks where we keep the paperwork, though most of our records are just in notebooks. We don't go in for big marketing or websites. Most folks around here know where we are if they need something made of iron or steel. We start early, around seven, and keep going until the light fades. We drink plenty of tea and just focus on getting the orders out for the people who rely on us. It’s honest, hard work and we don't try to make it sound like anything else. Just a bunch of guys working with metal in a busy part of town.
