Hansraj Steels

Hansraj Steels is situated right on the G.T. Road in Suranussi. Being on the main highway means there is never a moment of silence. Big trucks and buses are always zooming past our front gate. We handle a lot of steel supplies here. The yard is usually full of inventory that needs to be sorted and moved. It’s a tough job because the metal is heavy and can be sharp if you aren't careful. We all wear thick gloves, but even then, you end up with some cuts and bruises. The building itself is quite old and has some rust on the roof panels, which seems fitting for a steel yard. We have a small office near the entrance where we keep the ledgers and a very old computer that we use for the bills. Hansraj started this place a long time ago, and we’ve just kept it going the same way. We don't have any flashy marketing or a big sales team. Most of our business comes from people who see us while driving down the G.T. Road. It’s a dusty environment, especially in the dry season when the wind picks up off the road. We usually have a big pot of tea going in the morning for everyone. We aren't trying to be a massive company, just a spot where people can get their steel without any hassle. We spend most of our day loading and unloading the trucks.
