Golden Scissor Unisex Hair Salon

Golden Scissor is our shop in Thakur Market. It’s near Indra Park in Jalandhar City. We’ve been running this place for some time and it’s a unisex salon, so we see all kinds of people coming in. We have three chairs for cutting hair and a small wooden bench for anyone waiting. The market is usually busy, especially on the weekends, so it gets a bit loud outside with the scooters and people talking. We do basic haircuts, shaves, and some hair coloring if someone asks for it. The walls are painted a simple off-white and we have some old pictures of different hairstyles hanging up, though most people just tell us what they want. It’s not a fancy place with expensive coffee or anything. We just have a water filter in the corner. Sometimes the electricity goes out and we have to use the big windows for light. We know most of the shopkeepers around Thakur Market, so it feels like a nice community. We sweep the floor a lot but hair always seems to find its way into the corners. Jalandhar winters get cold, so we keep a small heater behind the counter to stay warm. It’s a straightforward business and we don’t have a website or any of that stuff.
