Goel Tutorials

We are located at House No-5-D in Model House, right on the Main Gurdwara Road in Jalandhar. If you look out the front, you can see the C Block Park right across the street, which is nice because there’s a bit of greenery to look at. The area is usually quite lively, especially with people going to the Gurdwara or kids playing in the park. The tutorials happen inside the house, so it’s got a very lived-in feel to it. We’ve turned the main rooms into study areas with long benches and a few tables scattered around. There’s always a bit of dust on the windowsills because of the traffic on the main road, but we try to keep things tidy enough. We don’t use any big fancy words to describe what we do here. We just have students come in, sit down, and we go through their textbooks one page at a time. The lighting is a bit dim in the back room, so we use an extra lamp there. You might see a few tea cups sitting on the counter or a stack of newspapers from last week. It’s a very informal atmosphere, where nobody is worried about being perfect. We just focus on the work at hand. Most of the families in Model Town know us, and we’ve become a regular fixture on the road. It’s a plain, honest space for learning without any of the extra fluff you see at larger institutes.
