Darshan Academy

Down on Hoshiarpur Road in Dasuya, that is where you will find Darshan Academy. It is tucked away in the Hoshiarpur area, making it easy for local families to reach us. The school is a simple place with a few blocks for different grades. We have a gate that opens early every morning and shuts once the last kid leaves in the afternoon. Inside, the walls have some charts and student drawings pinned up, nothing too fancy. The courtyard is where everything happens, from the morning line-up to the afternoon games. It gets a little dusty when the wind picks up on the road, but we manage. We have a staff that has been here for a while, so everyone knows how things work. There is no need for big speeches here; we just focus on the lessons and making sure the homework gets done. Sometimes the electricity goes out and we just open the windows wider for light. It is a practical kind of place. The neighbors are used to the sound of the school bell by now. We have some benches outside where parents wait if they are early for pickup. It is a quiet part of town mostly, except when the school starts or lets out. We just do our work and keep the place running for the kids in Dasuya. It is a honest living for all of us here.
