Genesis Engineers

Genesis Engineers is tucked away in New Mehar Singh Colony, right on Jhill Road. If you walk past, you'll probably hear the sound of welding or metal being cut. We’ve been in this neighborhood for a while, and most of the shops around here know us. Our workshop isn't very large, so we have to stay organized, or we’d never find the right tools. We spend a lot of time bent over benches or looking at parts that need fixing. It’s the kind of job where your clothes are always stained with grease or oil, no matter how much you try to stay clean. We don't have a receptionist or a waiting room; people usually just walk straight into the back where we are working. Sometimes a job takes longer than we thought because a part doesn't fit right, and we have to stay late to figure it out. We aren't big on paperwork, but we make sure the jobs get finished. The sun hits the metal roof in the afternoons and it gets quite warm inside, but we keep the fans going and just get on with it. It’s mostly local work, fixing things for people in the colony or taking on small contracts. We don’t have a big sign or anything, just the work we do every day. Sometimes we have to wait a few days for specific parts to arrive by post before we can finish a machine.
