Flora Engineering Corp.

Starting work at Flora Engineering Corp. every morning means heading down Khalwara Road. Most of us here in Baba Gadhia know the way by heart now. It’s not a fancy place, just a regular shop where we get things done. Some days it’s quiet, other times it’s quite noisy with the machines running all day long. We’ve been at this address for a bit, and the neighbors mostly know us by the sounds coming from the workshop. You see people walking by going to their own jobs while we’re just getting the lights on. It’s mostly engineering work, nothing too complicated to explain, but it keeps us busy from Monday to Saturday. Sometimes the rain makes the road a bit messy, but we still show up. There isn’t much to say about our history or anything like that. We just focus on the parts we’re making. The air usually smells like metal and oil. It’s the kind of place where you know where every tool is kept even if it looks a bit messy to someone else. Most of the guys here have lived around Baba Gadhia for years. We don’t really do big meetings or anything. We just talk over tea and then get back to whatever is on the bench. It’s just how we operate at Flora Engineering Corp. and there is nothing more to it really. We are right there on Khalwara Road if anyone ever needs to find the building.
